Annual Passes
Be a part of the Monterey Zoo and visit often! An annual pass is the most economical way to enjoy the zoo year-round with unlimited visits and more. Get to know the animals and become a part of our zoo family while contributing to the community you call home.
Currently, annual passes are only sold at our zoo gift-shop. You are welcome to visit and see the zoo, then decided to upgrade your daily admission that day towards the cost of your annual pass. Become a part of the evolution of Monterey County’s first zoological experience of this kind. Our kids and community deserve it!
ALL ANNUAL PASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN OUR ZOO GIFT-SHOP DURING OPEN ZOO HOURS. Daily admissions fees can be applied to an annual pass when if/when purchased on the same day.
Individual Annual Pass
- Annual passes are for daily admission. Special events, holiday events and “meet and greets” with the animals not included.
- Admits adult listed on the pass only.
- $110 annual fee
- Valid for one year from the date of purchase.
- 10% discount for seniors (65 years of age and older), active military, active police and fire personnel or students – all must have valid ID.
- All discounted passes must be purchased from our gift shop only – not online.
Family Annual Pass
- Two adults and two children can enjoy unlimited daily admission for one year.
- One adult listed on pass must be present.
- $360 annual fee.
- $75 each for additional children.
- Valid for one year from date of purchase.
Individual Pass Plus
- Includes one guest each visit (must accompany pass holder) and a 10% discount at our gift shop
- Plus a 20% discount for our Crunch Time Tours
- $210 annual fee.
- Valid for one year from the date of purchase.
- 10% discount for seniors (65 years of age and older), active military, active police and fire personnel or students – all must have valid ID.
- All discounted passes must be purchased from our gift shop only – not online.
Family Pass Plus
- Two adults and three children can enjoy unlimited daily admission plus a 10% discount in our gift shop.
- Plus a 20% discount for our Crunch Time Tours

- $460 annual fee.
- $85 each for additional children.
- Valid for one year from the date of purchase.
